FHS/WTC Schedule 2023-2024
Wednesday, August 23 First required day to attend WTC. FHS provides transportation.
Friday, September 1 No School – Holiday Break.
Monday, September 4 No School – Labor Day.
Friday, September 29 No WTC Classes. FHS Homecoming Assembly.
Friday, October 13 WTC is Optional. Transportation not provided. FHS PD day.
Friday, October 20 No WTC- attend FHS as normal.
Thursday, November 2 WTC Parent-Teacher Conferences: 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
Friday, November 3 WTC Records Day - No AM WTC classes, PM classes in session.
November 22 – 26 No School – Thanksgiving Holiday.
Wednesday, December 13 WTC Open House: 4:30 -7:30 pm.
December 25- January 5 No School – Holiday Break.
Monday, January 8 Schools are back in session.
Monday, January 15 No School – Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Wednesday, January 17 (FHS ½ Day Exams 1-2)-AM attend WTC classes. PM WTC students attend
after FHS Exams.
Thursday, January 18 (FHS ½ Day Exams 3-4)-WTC AM takes 4th-hour exams after FHS ½ day.
PM attends WTC after FHS ½ day.
Friday, January 19 (FHS ½ Day Exams 5-6)-AM WTC takes exams @ FHS ½ day. PM WTC
attends after FHS ½ day.
Friday, February 16 No WTC classes. Attend FHS as normal.
Monday, February 20 No School- Presidents Day.
Friday, March 22 No WTC classes. Attend FHS as normal.
March 25 – March 29 No School - Spring Break.
Monday, April 1 Schools are back in session.
Tuesday, April 10 Only Senior WTC students attend. SAT for Juniors at the HS.
Wednesday, April 11 Only Senior WTC students attend. WorkKeys for Juniors at the HS.
Friday, April 12 Only Senior WTC students attend. MSTEP for Juniors at the HS.
Thursday, May 9 Student Showcase: 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
Friday, May 17 Seniors Last Day at WTC
Monday, May 27 No School - Memorial Day.
Friday, May 31 (FHS ½ Day Exams 1-2)-AM attend WTC classes. PM WTC students attend
after FHS Exams.
Monday, June 3 (FHS ½ Day Exams 3-4)-WTC AM takes 4th-hour exams after FHS ½ day.
PM attends WTC after FHS ½ day.
Tuesday, June 4 (FHS ½ Day Exams 5-6)-AM WTC take exams @ FHS ½ day. PM WTC
attends after FHS ½ day.
No School = School is not in session for either FHS or the WTC. No school at all.
No WTC classes = FHS is in session, but WTC is not in session, or students are not required to attend. Bus schedule: AM: Bus leaves for the WTC from the Performing Arts Center Parking Lot 7:15 am prompt.
AM: Students return to FHS for 4th-hour class around 11:20 am.
PM: Bus leaves for the WTC from the front of the school at 10:50 am prompt.
PM: Students return to at FHS around 3:00 pm.
** Please note there are days in which FHS is not in session, but since student interest is so high to attend the WTC, FHS will provide transportation. We will provide transportation if the weather conditions permit. If snow/ice day, transportation will not be provided by FHS. These non-required days will not count against student attendance, but rather we value the importance of the WTC and want to allow students to have as much exposure and class time as possible.
