FCS Teacher Presents at Michigan Reading Association Conference
In an inspiring demonstration of commitment to early childhood education, an educator from Fowlerville Community Schools (FCS) has shared their expertise at the Michigan Reading Association 68th Annual Conference this weekend.
Lauren Bolthouse, Early Literacy Coach, Fowlerville Community Schools, along with her colleagues from neighboring districts presented the session, “Connecting Preschool and Kindergarten Teachers Around the Essentials” at the conference held at the Lansing Center over the weekend.
Ms. Bolthouse and her colleagues, Kate Rossetter (Howell Public Schools) and Laura Allen (Pinckney Community Schools), were empowered to share their knowledge of the Literacy Essentials and help educators connect their work to those Essentials. The session is intended to help literacy coaches from districts across the state create their own professional learning sessions for their own teams. Way to go!
