Meet the Librarian
Hello! My name is Alyssa Day, and I am the librarian and computer teacher for H.T. Smith Elementary. Previously I have taught second grade, first grade and kindergarten. I earned my Masters degree in Information and Library Science from Wayne State University and my Bachelors degree in Child Development from Michigan State University (Go Green!). Fowlerville is a great place to live, learn and grow! It is truly wonderful to teach our community's young minds everyday. :)
Throughout the year students will listen to quality texts, learn behaviors and strategies that strong readers use, as well as select texts to read and enjoy at home!
