Molly Moulton Named Student Support Specialist
Fowlerville Community Schools is pleased to announce that Molly Moulton has been named the Student Support Specialist, K-2 at H.T. Smith Elementary.
Moulton has been with the district since 2009 serving as both a kindergarten and second grade teacher. She also served the district as a teaching assistant from 2004-2007.
In this role, Moulton will provide interventions for behavior support including positive and proactive techniques for improving student behavior and motivation. She will offer support for social and emotional health needs and implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Practice initiatives. In addition, she will organize, and lead learning opportunities related to positive and healthy behaviors for students and staff and will collaborate with teachers regarding the development and use of behavior plans, safety plans and health plans. She will report directly to the building principal.
Ms. Moulton earned a bachelor’s degree from Baker College in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University. She holds a teaching certification in Elementary K-5 all subjects, and K-8 self-contained social studies and early childhood education.
