Athletics

Fowlerville Junior High School offers a range of athletic opportunities for students including boys and girls basketball, cross country, track, cheerleading, wrestling and volleyball. These programs aim to develop teamwork, discipline and physical fitness in a supportive environment. Participation in school sports also helps students build friendships and school spirit.

Athletic Registration

Fowlerville Community Schools Athletic Department partners with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service to allow you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for you students online. FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year to year. Please review your information once per school year to verify information is current and authorize all necessary forms.  All Gladiator student-athletes, Junior High and High School, are required to be registered via FinalForms. 

Tips

1. Bookmark the site on your mobile device or computer (do not Google search for it in the future as you will not go directly to the Fowlerville Community Schools site).
2. Have required information available such as medical history/health information, insurance company policy numbers, doctor, dentist and hospital information.  This will make the registration time be more efficiently completed.  
3. Parents will need to include the student's email address.  FinalForms requires the student's @fowlervillestudents.org email address be used. Obtain your student's email from your son/daughter (It's their student id [email protected].) Your student will then need to check their email for information on how to complete their portion of the registration.  
4. Parent Playbook will help you with the online registration process. Please note: once you register, you will receive an email to confirm your account, create a password and complete the required forms.  
5. Last year's physical will be accepted if parents complete and submit the Health Questionaire. 

The successful experience for the athlete involves the communication triangle between the parent, athlete and coach. If handled correctly with both parent and coach working together for the benefit of the athlete, the athletic experience can be extremely positive. Parents must also realize and be aware that there is a delicate line between support/encouragement and interference. Everyone in the process, coaches and parents alike, must always remember that kids’ needs come first. 

As a member of the Mid-Michigan middle school athletic league, good sportsmanship-like behavior is expected at all times from players, coaches, spectators and officials.
